STARTS MONDAY, JUNE 22

FREE THIS ROUND ONLY • 2 WEEKS OF BRELLY INCLUDED

BE HONEST

In the last 90 days, have you done any of these?

❏ Called or emailed an adjuster to push back on a coverage issue or denial from an insurance carrier?

❏ Wrote a letter, or used ChatGPT, Claude, or any AI tool to write one, for a policyholder to send to their carrier.

❏ Told a customer their policy "should" cover your scope of work or estimate.

❏ Signed a contract with a line about representing, helping, handling, or settling the claim.

❏ Helped a policyholder decide whether to take a settlement offer from their insurance company or to fight it..

Wrote a letter, or used ChatGPT, Claude, or any AI tool to write one, for a policyholder to send to their carrier.

Called or emailed an adjuster to push back on a coverage issue or denial from an insurance carrier?

Told a customer their policy "should" cover your scope of work or estimate.

Signed a contract with a line about representing, helping, handling, or settling the claim.

Helped a policyholder decide whether to take a settlement offer from their insurance company or to fight it.

If you checked even one of these, there's a good chance a court in many states would call that practicing public adjusting without a license. It won't matter that you were only trying to help. It can be enough to void your contract, erase your rights for payment on work you already finished, and possibly even expose you to other claims against you.

THE REAL PROBLEM

Right now, most contractors have two choices.

Both have challenges.

One option is to help move the claim forward yourself, which compounds like interest, just in the wrong direction. Best case, a misstep costs you a payment on a job you already finished. Worst case, your license, or a legal mess and all that goes with that.

The other option is to stay back entirely. Call it retail: you let the policyholder try and walk through it blindfolded, and if it stalls, you point them to a public adjuster, an attorney, an appraiser. Except a lot of the time, they can't take it if the claim's too small, or it's too much work for what's in it. And you can't blame them; they've got a living to make too.

So it sits. Weeks, then months. Maybe it's ten jobs hung up like this. Maybe it's a hundred and ten.

Either way the cash doesn't come, your customer gets frustrated, and you burn costly hours defending your scope while trying to explain what you can and can't do without sounding like you're making excuses.

You don't do it on purpose, there just isn't much choice in it. And it's how good contractors end up on the wrong side of UPPA without ever meaning to.

THE FIX

Know the line.

Make it your advantage.

There is a third option. You do what only you can do: inspect, document, scope, build, and prove the loss. The homeowner does the part the law reserves for them: the carrier conversation, the coverage questions, the letters.

The difference is they don't do it alone. That's what this challenge teaches, and it's how the contractors who run the cleanest, fastest claims operate.

BEFORE

How most contractors operate:

  • You're on the phone with the adjuster trying to get the scope approved and get accused of UPPA.

  • You help write the letter or email the policyholder sends in.

  • Your contract has a clause you didn't know could sink you.

  • You spend a good portion of your time teaching your team what the "grey" area is.

AFTER

How it's done when you know the rules:

  • Your documentation makes the arguments for you.

  • The policyholder handles the carrier conversations confidently.

  • Nothing in your files, texts, email, or your daily-driver AI can be called adjusting, because you never did it.

  • You're the contractor that gets the respect and referrals in your market because you have the best approach and and a compliant process.

THE PLAN

Introducing the Challenge.

Empowering Policyholders

Rob walks you through exactly what a policyholder experience's inside Brelly: how they upload their policy, get straight answers about the questions or issues, and send their own emails to the carrier without you touching any of it. You'll see why policyholders who go through this process refer the contractor who set them up. You're still the expert for your part. You just never crossed any lines.

WED • JUNE 24 • 4PM CST

Bulletproof Claims

Learn how building a well documented Proof Package for the policyholder helps their claim and makes every step of the process faster and smoother. This way, you stay in your area of expertise, protect your business, stay the hero, and get paid faster.

FAQ

I'm not in a strict state. Does this apply to me?

Yes. 45+ states license public adjusters and limit who can negotiate a claim — and the rules are tightening, not loosening. But even setting the risk aside, you'll leave building Proof Packages, running a leaner operation, and giving your customers a better experience when they need it most. That's worth it in any state.

I don't have time for a two-week thing. Should I even join?

Of course you should! The sessions only run an hour and they're all recorded, and there's a Skool community where you can ask questions any time, day or night — so come live when you can, catch the rest whenever, and apply it to claims you already have open. No homework. It just makes the work you're already doing go faster.

If I'm not the one dealing with the insurance company, won't my customer feel left on their own?

The opposite, actually. The contractor who's part of a fast, clean claim — where the policyholder knows what's happening — is the one who gets referred. You look like the expert, because you are, and your process gets results.

Is this just a two-week ad for your software?

Nope. Whether or not you ever pay Brelly a dollar, you'll leave understanding UPPA, how to protect your business better, how a proof package gets built, and so much more. We’re giving you access because the easiest way to learn this is by doing it on real claims. So we're making that possible at no cost.

I already work with public adjusters. Is this for me.

Of course it is, and bring your PA along; they'll love it too! This is not about replacing public adjusters, they have a very important role in claims.
It's for the reality that most claims never get one — too small, not worth a PA's time, or the policyholder doesn't want to hire one yet. This gets those claims started right and inside the law. And when a PA is the right call, you've handed them a gift: the whole claim documented and ready, so they're more likely to take it on, get started fast, and get results.

Is this whole thing really free?

Yes, but this round only. We've done this privately with smaller groups, but this is our first time opening it up to the public. So come one, come all, we're about to get some stuff done!

What happens after two weeks?

If it's not for you, you take everything you gained, we wish you the absolute best and hope you use what you learn to help more policyholders and yourself! If you love it and want to keep doing it this way, you can upgrade and stay.

Is this legal advice?

No. Nothing in this challenge is legal advice, and we're not your attorneys. We won't tell you with a guaranteed answer what's legal in your state, what your contracts should or shouldn't say, or how to handle a specific claim. That's not our business and we can't advise you legally.

What we can and do share is what we've learned over long careers in this work — and from years of conversations with attorneys, adjusters, and contractors — about where the lines tend to fall and how the rules are shifting. That information comes from our collective experiences, and should not be taken as legal counsel or advice.

Because UPPA rules vary by state and change often, confirm anything that matters to your business with a licensed attorney.

What happens after I join?

You'll get an email with all of the details like session links, a calendar add, and your invite to the private Skool community. We'll send reminders before each session, and every session is recorded to Skool within 24 hours if you miss one or want to play it back.
